I began my career on stage after graduating from theatre school in 1999, but put my dream aside to raise my daughter.
For the next 20 years I worked my way up to the C-Suite level in the beauty industry. Professionally, choosing to work in beauty gave me a stable career with a creative outlet, saving me from the clutches of poverty as a single mother. Personally, choosing to look for beauty in everyone and everything saved my heart, affording me strength to never give up: on myself, on my dreams, and on others. I knew that one day I would return to acting.
Today I represent a new era of well-aging women to people of all generations. Together we have the power to allay fears, restore hope, and help others navigate life in diverse, inclusive, meaningful ways.
Beauty really will save the world.
